WHY WE EXIST
At Married By A Teddy, we believe that love is limitless, and so is the way it can be celebrated. We were founded on the idea that no two love stories are the same—so why should any two ceremonies be? Too often, weddings can feel dry, impersonal, or stuck in tradition. We’re here to shake things up.

Married By A Teddy was built on a foundation of inclusivity, diversity, and deep respect for all identities, cultures, and expressions of love. We champion LGBTQIA+ couples, culturally diverse partnerships, gender-affirming ceremonies, and everyone whose love defies the cookie-cutter mould.
One of the questions we get regularly is, “Do you only work with LGBTQIA+ couples?” Absolutely not. Whether you are an LGBTQIA+ couple or not doesn’t matter. We want to work with awesome couples who are just as passionate about creating safe, welcoming spaces for everyone present, from your parents to the awesome people who make up your vendor crew.

Drawing on years of experience, global cultural understanding, and an unwavering belief in the power of connection, Teddy’s leadership shapes everything we do.
From first meeting to final vows, we’re here to guide, inspire, and celebrate alongside you—never taking over, but always lifting you up.
