Your ceremony time is yours. The party is for everyone.
When you book, you are securing your personalised and dedicated vow renewal ceremony timeslot. Ceremony slots are available between 10am and 4pm in half-hour increments. The afterparty runs throughout the day and continues until 6pm.

The Renewal Project is designed to feel meaningful, stylish, welcoming and joy-filled. Each couple receives their own ceremony moment, then everyone comes together for a community celebration of love, identity, connection and chosen family.

Your ceremony slot is dedicated to you and your partner. It gives you space to pause, reflect and renew your vows in a way that feels authentic.
An afterparty that runs all day
You are welcome to stay before or after your ceremony, soak up the atmosphere and celebrate alongside other couples and guests.

This is an inclusive celebration for a broad cross-section of the community — LGBTQIA+ couples, allies, long-term loves, newer commitments and everyone in between.

Ceremony timeslots are limited and available in half-hour increments between 10am and 4pm. Guest tickets allow your favourite people to witness your ceremony and stay for the shared celebration.

Good things to know before you book.
What exactly am I booking?
You are booking a personalised, dedicated vow renewal ceremony timeslot for you and your partner. Your ceremony time is separate from the afterparty, which runs throughout the day.
When are ceremony slots available?
Ceremony slots are available between 10am and 4pm in half-hour increments. The event and afterparty continue through to 6pm.
Can we arrive before our ceremony?
Yes. You are encouraged to arrive earlier, get into the atmosphere, connect with your guests and enjoy the celebration before your ceremony time.
Can we stay after our ceremony?
Absolutely. That is the whole idea. Once you have renewed your vows, stay on and celebrate with the other couples and guests at the shared afterparty.
How many guests can we bring?
Guest numbers may be limited based on capacity and the structure of the day. Purchase guest tickets for the people you would like to attend with you.
What should we wear?
Whatever feels most like you. Dress up, dress down, wear something wedding-inspired, party-ready, sentimental, colourful, classic or completely unexpected.
Is this only for LGBTQIA+ couples?
The event proudly supports the Victorian Pride Centre and warmly welcomes LGBTQIA+ couples, allies and all couples who want to celebrate love, community and inclusion.
Is this a legal wedding ceremony?
No. This is a vow renewal celebration, not a legal marriage ceremony. It is designed for couples who are already married or otherwise wish to recommit to one another symbolically.
Will there be food and drinks?
Couples may be able to pre-purchase catering or grazing options. Further details will be available through the ticketing and event information.
